Section 1: When contemplating the question "what is the best way tomotivate your employees"" the idea of achievement motivation is veryapparent. Achievement motivation is a desire for significant accomplishmentfor mastering skills, ideas, for control, and for rapidly attaining a highstandard (Myers 464). When considering applying this to one's employees youat first consider how they are different from each other. First, all people are createdwith different capacities controlled by genetics and the way they wereraised (Myers 423). Many other factors contribute to the drive of theindividual. Many "high achievers" or driven achievers have intrinsicmotivation this is the desire to perform a behavior for its own sake and tobe effective, and for enjoyment, interest, or challenge (Myers 466). Anoutside motivator is extrinsic motivation, such as a deal for a student toget 5 dollars for every A he.....
