The Roman Empire was one of the greatest military powers the world had ever seen. They conquered a large amount of the civilized world by using excellent and superior weapons. The Romans had many weapons that they used in wars and battles and their weapons were the most successful in the entire world.

There were many types of good sword that the Romans used. The short sword was the main weapon to use. It was excellent in close combat and was easy to handle. One very effective sword was the Gladius. It was a short sword with a length of 18 inches and a width of 2 inches. Also a large round ball at the end of the sword helped with the physical balance and performance of the sword. Its use was for stabbing and slashing.....
