Background information

The amounts of concentration of a substance change when a chemical reaction takes place. I think it is important to begin with the correct concentration so for my preliminary experiment I will see which is the best concentration of hydrochloric acid and sodium thiosulphate to use to make sure that the reaction is not to fast or to slow to begin with. As the reaction takes place the sodium thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid are used up and sulphur, sulphur dioxide and sodium chloride are formed

Introduction

I am looking at how temperature affects the rate that sodium thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid react, this is to investigate collision theory.
