A Plot Summary of To Kill a Mockingbird

Summary:   Provides a plot summary of the novel To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee.


TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

In chapter one everyone is introduced to the readers there's Scout the narrator and our next character Atticus' six-year-old daughter. Atticus is a lawyer in Maycomb, Alabama, which is where they live. We also meet Jem Atticus' thirteen-year-old son. Then there's Calpurnia the housekeeper and Dill who visits in the summer from Meridian, Mississippi. Now Boo Radely is an interesting character because he's the outcast he is always home and lives in an old run down house is very quiet and is always blamed for the bad things that happen in town.

Next Scout begins her first day of school on the wrong foot; she gets smacked with a ruler for interrupting class repeatedly and gets in a fight with Walter Cunningham, one of the poor.....
