Imagine living in a cardboard box, with nowhere else to go, no food to eat and the rain poring down hard. This is a horrible way to live. Yet worldwide millions of people are living in these conditions. True, the United States has poverty nation wide, but nothing compared to what is happening in third world countries. People are struggling to survive, by finding any clothes to wear and digging through trash to get food.
