The Early Life of Thurgood Marshall

I am writing essay to inform my teacher of my essay on Thurgood Marshall. I will explain the beginning of his life, his achievements, and last his death. That will be the basis of my report.

Thurgood Marshall was born July 2, 1908, to William Canfield Marshall and Norma Arica Marshall his parents. They lived on Druid Hill Avenue in West Baltimore, where they lived in a middle-classed neighborhood where black and white families lived in harmony.

Thurgood's father William was a dining-car waiter at the Baltimore& Ohio Railroad. This was a very good job, especially for black men, but it normally kept him away from his family weeks at a time. However, after that he signed on as a waiter for the Gibson Island Club, and soon a chief steward.
