War of 1812 was a armed conflict agest the US and Great Britan. It was from 1812 to 1815. Between the 3 years alout more than 100 people died. More people died from dezis than the Britan. There was many batls from the sea. Well most of the fighting was from the sea.

The US had caons and used it from the land to take out the Britan ships. well the war became a war because Britan did not want the US treading in there treading in there land so they took out one of the US ships.

Many people had maps to find were they were. That was not the only reson the people that used maps used them they used the maps because they had to use the maps to get hidin places. The Britan used the maps for finding the US.
