Some of his films are the Silent World and World Without Sun, Both won Academy Awards for best documentary. His books include The Living Sea, Dolphins, and Jacques Cousteau: The Ocean World.He had a tv show called the Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau. It showed to the public the world of sharks, sunken treasure, and many more different things. Director of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.In 1974, he started the Cousteau Society to protect ocean life. There was more then 300,000 members worldwide. He was awarded with the membership to The French Academy.
