It showed to the public the world of sharks, sunken treasure, and many more different things. Director of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.In 1974, he started the Cousteau Society to protect ocean life. There was more then 300,000 members worldwide. He was awarded with the membership to The French Academy.
