TB: Well...Edward Scissorhand is a story - a fairytale of an outsider; Edward, who is kind- of like Frankenstein, Edward, has been created by a scientist, but before, he can be finished, the scientist dies, thus leaving him with "scissorhands." This film was originally inspired by Beauty and the Beast, the popular fairytale, but it has some deliberate changes made to suit a different type of audience....
