She illustrates in The Joy Luck Club the passion one can give to a book and to see what some mother daughter relationships are like. In The Joy Luck Club the setting takes place in pre-1949 China. Where four women tell the lives of there American born daughters. These daughters live in California, they moved from china seeking better lives. All these story's of the mothers is how they viewed there lives growing up and how they were much harder. The daughters also tell a story of their lives and what the ups and downs were. Each story leads to another and sometimes they intertwine, where they talk about how all four of.....
