Explaining the principles that Christians believe should guide their relationships.

Christian relationships are very different to people's relationships in general, if they do not have any religious beliefs. Christians believe in a bond between to people, if it is just friends or a pair which are married, this bond is equally as special.

Jesus taught in the parable of the Good Samaritan, 'Love thy neighbour, as yourself.' This tells us, that in the Christian religion, Christians are expected not to judge and to be kind and compassionate to everyone. Jesus had twelve disciples who were his friends, he said to them:

'Love one another, just as I love you. The greatest love a person can have for his friends is to give his life for them. And you are my friends if you do as I command you.'
