On September 11, 2001, America watched tragically as the World Trade Center bombing took the lives of hundreds of American citizens. It's said this tragic event was the most horrifying loss in American history. Ever since this very unforgettable date in history, America, though not as strong in economy, has pulled together to form an even stronger union. We've pulled together in a way that's unexpressible in words, but only in the feelings and character traits shown through the people involved with this terrible event, and through the people who has watched it from their television screen. To me, patriotism is something in which shouldn't be expressed in words, but in thoughts and feeling of us, the people lucky enough to be an American citizen. Patirotism has grown tremendously since that one fateful morning. It's grown, and will keep growing as long as we stick together through good times and bad. To me that's true patriotism.
