As the sun sets on the English skyline the nocturnal mistresses of the night began to appear throughout the cobblestone streets of the Nineteenth century. Throughout much of the day these individuals appeared to be common women. They went about their business just like any other member of society. However, this all changed when night came upon them. During the Victorian Period, there were many prostitutes who roamed the streets and offered themselves in turn for money.
