Essay provides information about volcanoes.

When we think of volcanoes, most of us picture a huge mountain with flames and smoke shooting out of the top. To many people, volcanoes are the most feared natural phenomenon on this planet. However, a volcano is actually defined as any hole through with lava reaches the earth's surface. Most of these volcanoes are located under the sea, in volcanic ranges called mid-ocean ranges. They are formed from the ocean floor, but we'll talk more about that later on.

A volcano is made up of five main parts. First, there is the vent, which is the opening at the Earth's surface. Next, there is the pipe, which is the tunnel that the magma (extremely hot molten rock formed inside the Earth) flows up through to the surface during an eruption. Then, there is the crater,.....
