In "Secrets of the Lost Empires", we see various different aspects of ancient societies. The three episodes that we watched made us realise the mentality and skills of these marvelous societies.

Foremost, the sheer size of these "projects" are the first thing that we are in awe of when we watch the series. The largest Obelisks were around 440 tonnes, over a hundred feet and were formed from a single piece of granite, and made with only the Bronze technology of New Kingdom Eygpt. The main question is why did thousands of Eyptians and other ancient civilisations work together to erect these fascinating momuments (the colosseum, obelisks and stonehenge), and how did they do it with their ancient technology.
