How Powerful Is the Media in Our Community?

Technology has taken our primary source of current events to flat screen digital television, digitally tuned radios, high definition newspapers, the World Wide Web with more than one million sites, and so much more. We use them every day, day in and day out. We rely on them for school papers, job presentations, and our knowledge of cultural and society differences.

Columbine

Most people take the Columbine High School tragedy into consideration when they think of influential media. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold are thought about when people ask if there really is a problem with our news stations and radio channels. They were fanatics of Hitler and known as co-founders of the "Trench Coat Mafia."
