The 2004 Canadian Federal Budget was released on March 23rd 2004 listing all the areas that the government was allocating the money and according to the government the money given out is reasonable in filling some holes left by the previous government party. The 2004 budget has two key objectives; the first is to provide Canadians with responsible and sensible financial management and the second was to take the first steps in implementing the vision presented in the Speech from the Throne of strengthening the Social Foundations of Canada, building a "21st Century Economy" and restoring this country to a place of pride and international influence. Moreover the budget presents the monetary figures for key areas where the government deems necessary to achieve these two goals, and where they will be most efficient.
