Summary: Essay provides a discussion on "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding.
If the stranded children were girls, there would be just as many problems. There have been scientific experiments, and girls around the ages of 9-13, are more mature than boys. However, there are things that girls lack that boys can do and vies versa. One thing that girls would be able to do, is get things done when they say they would, being more mature. On the other hand, boys would be more able to kill the pig at that age. Although some of those assumptions could be taken as chauvinistic, around the ages of 9-13, they are mostly true.

Girls would be able to build the huts faster, get more done at the meeting, and other things along those lines. One line in the book basically states that the boys are gathering for a meeting not for fun, but business. Also around that line its says that...
