In the book "Duddy Kravitz," Duddy is a young Jewish boy that demonstrates the way a young Jewish man is expected to act according to stereotypes handed down over the years. Jewish people are assumed to be a people that show personality traits such as lying, cheating, and stinginess. The stereotypes also show that Jews use others for own personal gains and are very religious. Duddy also seems to use everyone he can to get ahead in life and also pays the price.
