"21 Grams" Movie Review

Summary: This essay is about the movie "21 grams."
"They say that 21 grams is the weight we lose when we die . The weight of five nickels, the weight of a chocolate bar, of a hummingbird and perhaps, also of a human soul." This is the most significant phrase in the movie 21 Grams said by Paul Rivers (Sean Penn) minutes before the movie finishes.

21 grams directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu and written by Guillermo Arriaga was released in 2003. The movie is rated R because of its sexual content, mediocre language and use of drugs. Throughout the movie, as the events took place, the characters start feeling various emotions among them: love, courage, revenge and sorry.

The movie reflects three totally different lives that finally have something in common after a serious and tragic accident that provokes three deaths. Samples of humanity and hope between the principle characters in spite of the hard facts of life are seen...
