Oligarchy in America

Summary:   Essay studies the Oligarchy in the United States, and how our country is run by white wealthy men.


Here in the United States of America there is one group of people who have the top jobs, they make the most money, and run the country so they benefit for the changes they make while others in the country suffer. The group of people that I am talking about who run this oligarchy is the white male. The author's core argument is, the oligarchies in this country are the source of economic turmoil, and the power that they have is growing making the gaps between the upper class and the underclass much larger. Basically, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The vast majority of power in this country is possessed by wealthy aristocratic white males, and they use their power to benefit themselves which often is detrimental to our country's.....
