School Uniforms

Summary: Essay discusses the subject of wearing uniforms at school.
Uniforms are worn by policemen, firemen and athletic teams as a show of unity and strength of the group. To me, it is bizarre that more schools do not require students to wear school uniforms. Countless school administrators and parents across the country have discussed the pros and cons of mandatory school uniforms. Even though there are many students who would not like to wear a uniform, I believe that a school uniform policy would be in the best interests of the student body as a whole. In my opinion the three key benefits of uniforms are less teasing, higher academic results, and a reduction of clothing expenses for the families of students.
