Growing up for Helen Keller was rather difficult due to her disability. She stayed strong and focused. Through experiences in her life, she knows that, "Although the world is very full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it." Keller suggests that the world is full of suffering however there are also many people who are willing to try to make the world a better place. We know that not all societies are happy and that is because people are not compromising as well as talking things out. Has someone ever treated you poorly before? Did that situation lower your self-confidence, your respect for them, or were you offended?
