Summary:  

Essay discusses the religion of Buddhism.

There was a prince named Siddhartha Gautama who lived n a nice rich palace all of his life. Then when he left he saw all the hurt and pain in the world and didn't like it. He wanted to know why there was so much suffering in the world so he set out on a journey to find out. It was in the 500's B.C. that he traveled and he wanted to know the meaning of life. He studied with Hindus but that wasn't what he wanted. He couldn't accept what they thought. He decided to stop looking outward for answers and started looking in his mind and he meditated. Meditating is thinking deeply about sacred things. He meditated and fasted and after 49 days he figured it out and understood suffering. He traveled for.....
