Life is Beautiful

Summary: Essay provides an analysis about the movie "Life is Beautiful."
This is a great movie with funny and sad moments. Firstly, the performances of both father and son are touching and heart-warming and they are really good actors. Benigni, with such a funny way to perform, tries to transform the sadness of the film into comic situations. I cried and I laughed.

What I found more touching in the film was the efforts and dedication of Guido, of a father, trying to hide the horrors of the Holocaust from his son. And I felt really impressed with the tragic ending, when Guido achieves his biggest wish and sees Giosue on the tank (the prize), at the end of the war, happy, safe and, the most important, alive.
