The Relevance of a Journey

Summary:   Essay uses various texts of literature to discuss the relevance of a journey.


A lot of people embark on a journey to gain the reward at the destination of their journey whether its money, fame or something that is very desirable to obtain. However, the reward for a lot of people isn't what you receive at the end of your journey, but the journey itself and the many rewards you learn as you travel through your journey.

A lot of people enjoy going on the journeys because the journey itself is fun, and its exciting to go on a new experience, than rather stay in the same place for the rest of your life. This statement just mentioned is explored in text 3 of the stimulus booklet, 'The Wind in the Willows' by Kenneth Grahame.
