Summary: The essay is about the play of "The Lion King" directed by Julie Taymor.
The Lion King directed by Julie Taymor is a theatrical alternation of one of the novel The Lion King who is written Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi. The play started off with the life of Simba when he was a young lion cub that was happily rose up by his father Mufasa. But sadly, Simba had to witness his father Mufasa's death and was led to believe by his uncle, Scar, that Simba was the cause of Mufasa's death. Simba runs away from his kingdom and swears never to return so that he will not cause any more trouble to his family or to his kingdom, as Simba is an heir to a throne. After running away to the jungle, Simba meets two creatures, Timon and Pumba, who become his counselor and friends. Then, the play makes travel through to Simba's adult years, when he is grown up...
