Summary: Essay provides a discussion regarding the nuclear arms race.
The Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union put the whole world in danger of a nuclear war. Now days many countries are in possession of nuclear weapons, also there are many weapons that the United States doesn't know about. Also many weapons are missing due to the Soviet Union breaking up in the 1990's; so many weapons that can destroy countries can't be found. So threats of nuclear war can still happen. Many countries possess nuclear weapons. Three countries that I am going to talk about are North Korea, Iran, and Libya. All three countries have nuclear weapons but only one country is going to destroy them.

The United States are trying to stop North Korea from opening a nuclear power plant where they can create nuclear weapons. It started in 1993 North Korea says it had to quit the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NNT) which...
