Darwin went on a trip from England to South America to London. During these days, he came up with the idea of evolution while he was comparing animals. He understood that he was purposing a clever idea. If anyone was to find out, it would jeopardize science, religion, his career, and his reputation. His idea is that all of life evolved from a single branch, and that all living things on Earth are related. The Islands is where he first started to get his first ideas. There, he noticed how different birds' beaks were shaped by what they ate.
