In today's society, teenagers and preteens alike feel the pressure to look and dress a certain way. Every aspect of their lives is designed to make them feel inadequate and inferior. They are constantly being bombarded with images of stick thin models and beautiful people in ads, on television, and in movies. Teens are also given the idea that being beautiful means they have a certain sense of power. Adolescents are at a stage in their lives when they are highly impressionable and will buy the propaganda the media throws at them. The teenagers are trying to shape the adult they will become but become confused with all of the messages society is throwing at them. Teenager's have a hard enough time making decisions without every other aspect of their lives vying for a say in how they make these choices. There is too much pressure put on teenagers...
