The technology of the world is at its prime point and is increasing everyday. Mathematics is the key reason that technology is so great today. If it were not for the brilliant working minds of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the technology of the world would not be as far advanced as it is today. The recognition of these advancements is due to many men. Leonhard Euler, a Swiss mathematician of the eighteenth century, is proclaimed to be one of the greatest mathematicians in the world and many of his contributions to math (and Algebra) are taught and used in business today.
