Tuesdays with Morrie was a book that I did not enjoy very much. It was repetitive and I found it hard to concentrate and just read the book. Even so, I believe that the quotes were meaningful and I found a few that relate to my own life.

1.) "Listen, I have to pee. Would you mind helping? Are you OK with that? Often to their of surprise, they were." (11)

I chose this quote because it tells about one of Morrie's characteristics. He was not embarrassed to have people know what this disease did to him. Morrie didn't want to let the ALS take over him and he did a lot to prove that he was still staying strong. Instead of giving up like many people would, he gratefully accepted whatever help was given.
