I am Hephaestus or known to the Romans as Vulcan. I am the god of fire and forger of armor. My parents are Zeus and Hera even though Zeus had no part in my birth. My mother expected me to be more beautiful and outshine all of Zeus' children. She was wrong. When I was born, I was ugly and deformed.
