Summary:   Essay provides a discussion regarding artificial intelligence.


A.I. is popularly known as a replicated concept of human behavior and response remapped in software. The brief technical definition of artificial intelligence is an algorithm, or a complex mathematic equation, established and translated into computer coding. The major discrepancy of A.I. and a mathematical equation is the ability of reaction or choice. A.I. can react towards an action from the input of the equation, to the output of the equation. The root of A.I. may have developed as the first computer code was being written because it is the very birth of human-computer interaction (Jackson). Computers are finally able to make their own choices, known as automated decision making. Data goes through a mathematical model and determines a human-like choice through calculations conducted by a software programmer. A.I. also applies in decision support systems, which.....
