Summary:   My essay is about some of the major points of Richard Nixon's life, including the Watergate Scandal.


Richard Nixon has been called dishonest and has been criticized for the Watergate scandal. He has also been praised for his achievements as a president and statesman. Nixon was a lawyer, in the army, in congress, vice-president, and president. He made a very bad decision in the Watergate scandal to steal information about his opponent's campaign plans by breaking into the Democrats' office. After he resigned, he offered advice about U.S. relations with other countries and was also asked his opinion in many things by other presidents.

After Richard graduated from college he went to Duke University Law School to become a lawyer. He received good grades and earned a scholarship, which helped him pay for his tuition. Nixon received his law degree in 1937. He later married Patricia Ryan in 1940. They moved to Washington D.C.....
