Who do you think is the best and most well known horror writer of today's world? If Stephen King does not come to mind then you must not be well educated on horror literature. King's early hardships and hard work have helped him get to where he is today. Stephen King has established himself as the most well-known horror author in America today. If horror is in turn more valued now then it was ten or twenty years ago, it is largely due to the writing of Stephen King. King is not only a horror writer, but also a horror lover and has personally changed the way people think of the horror genre.

Stephen Edwin King was born on September 21st 1947 in Portland, Maine to Donald King, a U.S. marine merchant and Nellie Ruth Pillsbury.....
