Summary:   Essay discusses examples of corruption in America.


Enron was the biggest company in America when it announced that it had gone bankrupt. Many people who had invested in Enron lost all of their stocks. People with retirement plans had invested their money in this company, and then lost their retirement funds.

When the upper level employees of Enron were investigated, it was found that they had sold all of the stock that they owned the previous year. This struck many as odd, and it looked very suspicious to the public. They had gotten all of their money out right before the company went bankrupt. Did they know that the company was going down? They ended up coming out on top, while the average people lost their money. Was this illegal? Maybe not, however I do believe immoral is the right word. Other companies.....
