Summary: Essay discusses the Trojan War.
The Trojan war is an actual fact it took place in about 1250 B.C.. This war was between the Greek city-state of Sparta and Troy an other civilization which is now represented by the country of Turkey today. This two great cities were powerful and had great leaders. The Trojan War has its roots in the marriage between Peleus and Thetis, a sea goddess. Peleus and Thetis had invited every god but Eris, the god of discord this made Eris furious. The angry god decided to interfere at the wedding banquet by throwing a golden apple that said "For the Fairest" which cause a argument between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. The three goddesses wanted the golden apple, since noone wanted to give up the apple Zeus decided that Paris prince of Troy, and the most beautiful man in the world should be the judge.
