"Thieves' Paradise" is a novel about Dante Black and his life as a hustler. Dante tries to live a good clean life but is forced to fall into the lifestyle that he wanted to stay away from.

Dante Black was sent to juvenile jail at the age of 15 for beating up his father. Dante attacked his father after he saw him abuse his mother. Ten years later Dante found himself out of work and barely surviving. He looked for jobs but never got a returned phone call. He got a call from Scamz, a friend of his known for hustling, who was trying to get Dante to be a partner in his scams. Dante turned down the offer and told Scamz that he was trying to get his life straight. One day Dante goes to get out to get something to eat and decides to finally ask out...
