Shakespeare made use of language, symbols and characterization to express the themes of love and death featured significantly in Romeo and Juliet.

Juliet, a complex character who has a versatile personality. Shakespeare uses her qualities to identify her youth. The way Juliet reacts to her first true love shows how pure and innocent she really is.
