Preventing Teenage Binge Drinking is a job that has of late been focused on by the community in many ways, yet has not been accomplished on a major scale. With teenagers dying by the thousands every year from causes related to drinking, how can this be neglected, i.e., not solved or at least reduced by in a more certainly and increasingly predictable way"

I believe, after talking to adults from age 21 to over 70 years old as well as teenagers and sub-teens, that the problem is extremely complex. It involves getting all affected groups to view the teen drinking problem in new ways, and holding all members of our society accountable. This includes the aforementioned teens and parents, as well as police, judges, the liquor and advertising industry, politicians, and lobbyists for the liquor industry, visiting foreigners/aliens and the armed forces of the United States.
