Fox hunting is a difficult sport attempted by many but achieved by few. Originally fox hunting was not actually the hunting of foxes at all. It was the hunting of deer which were also called fox in that time period. The first recorded hunting of foxes with dogs was in 1534 in Norfolk where farmers who hunted fox found much amusement in the chase. When the cities in Great Britain grew and the size of the forest declined many of the deer were unable to be hunted due to the lose of their habitat. The only animals left where the smaller more rodent like creatures leaving the fox a prime target for hunters. But since deer where still around at that time hunting vermin was unheard of among the nobles and wealthy until the deer population declined. People also began to move into the cities where...
