Summary:   this essay tells about the plot characters and setting of the book "The Natural."


Characters

Roy Hobbs (The Natural) - Roy Hobbs, in the beginning of the book is very young. I'm guessing he was around 25 years old. Later on in the book he turns 35 and that's right after he joins major league baseball. He was a pretty good person but judges people a lot and can lose his temper. He was a great baseball player who caught everything even close to left field and hits the ball very hard. Once, he literally knocked the cover off the ball he hit it so hard.
