Summary: Essay discusses which character I feel more sympathy for in "Frankenstein."
Have you ever felt like an outcast, pushed aside and ignored just because you look or act different? Imagine seeking love and to be accepted, but receiving terrified looks of disgust, even from the one that brought you to life. How could anyone live such a forlorn life? The creature in Frankenstein went through these experiences every day of his life, including the day he was "born". I believe that the creature deserves all of my sympathy, especially since we can all familiarize with feeling alone and different. The creature was shunned from society even though he was good-hearted and wanted to be like everyone else. Victor was at fault for creating a creature that he himself was repulsed by and didn't show care for.

The creature in Frankenstein only wanted what all humans received, love. He wanted to feel normal and accepted in the society of people...
