Superbly skilled athletes are looked upon in admiration. It takes a great deal of work to reach the "top of the list." The remarkable thing about super star athletes is how they have arisen from a lifetime of hard work. There are numerous skilled athletes in this world, but only some are considered to be in the elite group. An athlete who never stopped believing is Wilma Rudolph, a superb athlete with great skill. She literally risked her life to become a track star. Wilma is considerably one of the world's greatest track idols. Arising from a rough childhood, she improved in sports and bettered herself in track. Wilma went through many hardships in her life, but dealt with them and did not let them ruin her goals.
