Summary: Essay describes the stereotypes used at high schools.
Stereotyping goes on everyday at High School more then most students might notice. Students stereotype by pre-judging or basing on little knowledge of what they know about the their fellow students. One of the most common stereotypes heard these days on campus are how school can appear to be a prison, teachers seem to be ruining students lives, how boys are better then girls, and your a prep if you where certain types of clothing. Most of these stereotypes began by rumors, which are rarely true. Many young children appear to have many stereotypes of their own. Many aren't born with them, but are taught by their parents or fellow peers. People who are commonly pre-judged often seem to except it or not let it get to them. Others live with it threw out life.
