Summary:   An essay about the lives and accomplishments of the Wright brothers.


Airplanes have revolutionized the world. Have you ever wondered who made these wonderful machines? The answer is: the Wright Brothers. During their youth, the brothers were interested in science. As they got older, they became involved in airplanes. After their first tests at Kitty Hawk, they built bigger, better and more successful planes. Without these brilliant men, the world would not be what it is today.

Even though the brothers did their most memorable inventions later in life, their youth was also something that should be known of. Wilbur Wright was born in 1867 and Orville Wright was born in 1871, and at birth their parents had no idea they were raising the inventors of the first successful airplane. As the boys grew, they were very interested in science and their parents encouraged them by giving.....
