Essay | The Competition

Many people see heroes as pop stars, footballers or other people from famous posts. My hero though is somewhat different and closer to home. I think that to be a hero someone must be courageous and have determination. Heroes are seen as members of the media. They are all well known for something i.e. singers, Dancers or footballers. To be a hero skill is required, but not always in academic, sporting or performing sense. The skill in my point of view is the strength and power to keep going and to achieve goals no matter what; to have willpower. For many single mothers rising a child is a struggle, but no matter what the mothers do their best to give their child the best. They keep working and this could be seen as a quality found in heroes.
