Attitude Is Everything

Summary:   This essay is about Sir Thomas More and how he was a great historical figure. I wrote this after reading "A Man For All Seasons," so this could also pass as a literature essay.


Throughout A Man for All Seasons by Robert Bolt, there is one character that stands out from all the rest. This character is the image of the perfect man. He goes by the name of Sir Thomas More. Since he is a non-fictional character, it is hard for one today to comprehend how Sir Thomas More is able to be so moral. One may imagine that Bolt may have exaggerated a little bit about the character and quality of Sir Thomas More. But Sir Thomas More has a unique attitude about the issues of his current world. His beliefs and his attitudes towards those issues are unlike any other of his time, or perhaps of any time, including the present day. Sir Thomas More's beliefs, attitude, and behavior towards politics, family matters, and common issues are.....
