One of the most important reasons why religion has become less important is that believe forms a big contrast to our rational mind. The fact is that new developments in science and technology have given us the possibility to explain and analyse nearly every natural process and so it is very hard for some people to imagine that there is a superhuman being that is responsible for everything. For example the Roman Catholic Church sticks to the history of "Adam and Eve".....
